Activities... Restoration Oaks No matter what you do while you're here at Restoration Oaks Ranch, you'll find that the time seems to slow down a bit and it doesn't take much to be entertained. The seemingly endless cattle trails and numerous dirt roads on the property, are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, (several mountain bikes are available) jogging, and walking, (for general safety, we strongly suggest always exploring in pairs or small groups). The Ranch is made up of rolling hills, mountains, canyons, and valleys, covered with grasses, oaks, sycamores and native California vegetation. ...and the stars at night are beautiful! Restoration Oaks Ranch is a place where you can spread out, try new things, and be creative. It's a place where you'll take the time for uplifting conversation under a Black Oak. It's a place where you can do those important things that don't always get done—like sitting quietly and watching the sun go down.     Restoration Oaks Ranch is located about 5 miles south of Buellton CA, (the quaint little town where the movie ‘Sideways’ was filmed), and under an easy 10 minute drive from Solvang (The Danish town with shops, restaurants, live theater, and more). It's just a quick drive to supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops, and just about anything else you might need, then right back to the Ranch. And don't forget, we're at the front door to many, many wineries. Wine tasting tours are available, or you can make a day of it with friends—on your own. Enjoy!
